Everybody's body reacts differently when new supplements are introduced and there are certain side effects you should be aware of before taking Resveratrol. These can be positive or negative. Not many researches or scientific studies have been carried out for resveratrol, so the side effects given are primarily based on the experiences of individuals who have used the product.

The Positive Side Effects

The Negative Side Effects

As mentioned, these negative effects are based on anecdotal experiences and are not based on medical studies:

  • Diarrhea and stomach cramping: this effect occurs if the products containing resveratrol formulae are of poor quality or the concentration of resveratrol is less than 50%.
  • Arthritis and joint pain: higher doses of resveratrol could result in these conditions.
  • Decreased appetite: this can be viewed as a negative side effect by some.
